EMERGENCY DROUGHT DECLARATION

Governor Newsom declared a Statewide Drought Emergency and set a 15% water use reduction goal.

To align with the State, the City has implemented water waste restrictions.

Make sure to follow the City’s water waste restrictions and take easy actions to reduce your water use indoors and outdoors.

In February 2023, the City reduced water use by 9% compared to 2019 usage and 13% compared to 2020 usage.

Cumulatively, from July 2022 to February 2023, the City has reduced water use by 12% compared with July 2020 to February 2021.

Mandatory 3-Day Watering Schedule

To reduce water use the City has implemented a 3-day outdoor watering schedule for irrigation of any plants, lawns, and other landscaping.

All residents and businesses must follow the watering schedule by address number below. Watering is only allowed from 6 pm to 9 am.

When can I water my yard?

You can water your yard three days per week, between the hours of 6:00 p.m through 9:00 a.m.

If your street address is an odd number, you can water your yard on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

If your street address is an even number, you can water your yard on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Remember, always make sure your watering doesn’t waste water and only waters your landscaping.
